James Gibbs is a founder of dbox, a studio of artists, illustrators, photographers, interactive designers and visual thinkers who together produce both commercial and independent visual arts projects in various media. James Gibbs has directed a wide array of dbox's projects including contributions to The Builders Associations work prior to SUPER VISION. His management of projects for dbox include a series of innovative installation media works for the Japanese cosmetics compsany Shiseido, and plays a key role in many dbox photographic projects. He has taught at Cornell University's School of Architecture, Art, and Planning and the School of Visual Art.
