Sita Popat is a Lecturer in Dance in the School of Performance & Cultural Industries, University of Leeds. Her research interests are in the area of dance and new media technologies. She is the author of Invisible Connections: Dance, Choreography and Internet Communities (2006, Routledge), and she is an Associate Editor of the International Journal of Performance Arts and Digital Media. She is currently leading Projecting Performance, an AHRC-funded project in collaboration with Scott Palmer and KMA Creative Technologies.
