In the Hebrew version of the Dinner Scene from Howard Barker's Gertrude (the cry)
Barker's play is explored by a group of 6 well-trained actors through language, visual stage images, live music and a specific build-up of action.
Nissan Nativ Acting studio is the school of all the participants in the play, and beyond that, their creative home.
Liel Denir, a 3rd Year student plays Gertrude as seen from Cascan's point of view played by Amitay Milo actor, musician and acting teacher.
Miki Leon, Avi Kornic, Efrat Aviv, actors who play leading parts in various theatre groups since graduating the Nissan Nativ Acting Studio, play Claudius, Hamlet, Ragusa.
Raquel Shore, their teacher, plays Isola & directs the scene.
Our goal is to reveal the drama of the characters through the hidden/dangerous "perspective" of the one who calls himself "the slave"(Cascan).
"Shouting one's pain into a jar" "Climbing out of the pool of one's desires", "Reading skirts, "Treading the maze of manners", these metaphors, and other expressions of penetrating poetry, come to life on an empty stage (floor) lit by a strong spot attached to a brass jar held by Cascan.
The brass jar is also the gong which invites the Royal Family to dinner.

המחזה תורגם לעברית על-ידי רחל שור . ששה שחקנים מאנשי
הסטודיו למשחק ניסן נתיב ישתתפו בסצנה שאורכה לא יעלה על חצי
שעה. הארוע יתרחש מספר פעמים בין 15:00 ל-21:00 באותו היום.
הפקה של הסטודיו עם 'תיאטרון חי'.
