| About the play | Fordham University Directing Program Presents: Gertrude (The Cry) With Haley Rawson, Jason Zeren, Kalon Hayward, Sophie Mears, Brendan McDonough, Amanda Ellis, and Rachel Buethe THE DIRECTOR: Kate Gagnon is a New York based director in her final year at Fordham University at Lincoln Center. Most recent projects include: Aliens with Extraordinary Skills at The Women’s Project (Assistant Director), Drawbridge (Director, Fordham Studio), Laughing Pictures: A Hollywood Odyssey (Assistant Director, Fordham Mainstage), January, 1986 with Push Productions at the 2007 New York Fringe Festival (Assistant Director & Stage Manager), Endgame (Assistant Director, Fordham Studio), Kate Crackernuts (Assistant Costume Designer, Fordham Studio). In addition to her training at Fordham, she has studied at The Moscow Art Theatre School (MXAT) in Russia and at the University of Glasgow. She is directing Gertrude (The Cry) as her thesis and plans to adapt a short work in the Spring 2010 Fordham University studio season.
